While still in power, the leader of Poland's national-conservative Law and Justice Party (PiS) Jarosław Kaczyński announced that, within the next two years, Poland is set to have the strongest land army in Europe. Everything suggests that the ruling liberal coalition will keep their predecessors' promise.
